The Organizing Committee of the Ionian International Sailing Week (Ionian Rally) announces this year's event, integrated into the philosophy and guidelines (restrictions) governing sporting events based on COVID-19 protection measures.

Although we are in the process of approving the event, we announce our intention to hold the race and invite our friends sailors who wish to take part, either as competitors or as volunteers, to inform us immediately. 

The characteristics of the event and this year's routes are as follows:

The risk of transmitting COVID-19 from the Risk Assessment tab is 2. 

Impact mitigation from the Impact Relief tab (%) is 81%.

Total risk is low.

At the organizational level, in addition to the Committee on Struggle and Objections, there will also be a Committee for Health Control and Case Management COVID-19.

The route, compared to the planned one from the beginning, has been changed by cutting the Trizons, because they do not have a sanitary structure. Instead of the Trizons, there will be a route "Furniture Markers in Patraikos".

Tuesday 4/8 , Patras - Messolonghi, 30 NM (mooring in Messolonghi) 

Wednesday 5/8 , Beech - Lefkada, 45 NM (mooring in the marina of Lefkada - former marina Kyriakouli)

Thursday 6/8 , Free day

Friday 7/8 , Lefkada - Bank, 30 NM (sailing on the marina of Preveza (new marina)

Saturday 8/8 , Preveza, Awards in free open space

There will be no gatherings of old-fashioned awards, with food and gatherings, and an effort will be made to design open-air awards in the spirit and permissible limits of the measures.
