We were looking for a waterproof drone after we crashed our DJI Mavic Pro drone. That's when we came across the SwellPro Splash Drone 3. We received it a few...

boom guess what this is
it's a splash drone 3 it's the latest 4k
version of the waterproof drum battery
more batteries some cool carbon-fiber
propellant plates
more because I know going to break them
what a proof payload receiver releaser
she's got a camera and it's got a moving
mechanism that will allow me to catch
and release things I guess people use
these for fishing put simply good stuff
woo got a couple of accessories a
bluetooth datalink this is to transmit
and connect my phone
this is dig this is much bigger than the
Mavic that I lost it's got some seals
here to make it waterproof this is a 4k
camera I'm really excited about this
this looks it's a 2 axis gimbal oh look
at this thing this thing is massive this
is kind of cool I like how they feel
click enos of them so you know that you
hit the button and a little tilt screen
these are little legs that we can put on
here and that way I've got something to
catch it with when I'm on the dinghy for
example this is going to be perfect I'm
going to go ahead and get this thing
ready and see if I can get a little
sunset

that didn't go as planned so this is
where the review will end for now I've
contacted swap pro to arrange for some
replacement propellers to be sent
they're having some manufacturing delays
due to their Kickstarter launch the
first crash was my fault I didn't put
one of the propellers on correctly when
I replace the first set with new ones
the flight was not very stable at all
though the drone looked like a drunk
version of captain ron's the wanderer
and when I try to land it crashed into
the standing rigging swell pros support
said something must have been wrong and
covered the propellers under warranty as
soon as I can get it up in the air
I'll be posting an update stay tuned and
make sure to subscribe so you don't miss
it to wrap this up I'm going to share
the only clip I have from the splash
zone 3 in flight it's not very exciting
because it was my original first flight
and I was trying to figure out the
controls as well as fix some of the
glitches I've got to say out of the box
it needs some fine-tuning I'm not sure
why there are horizontal lines or white
you can see the propellers the color
seems a little bit off too but much so
that can be fixed post-production
overall the splash drone 3 is not as
easy as simple to use as my DJI Mavic
pro which is what I learned to fly on
and certainly not as stable however as
far as the stability goes I'm hoping
that splash pro will be able to get me a
little bit better through the setup and
smooth some things out even though I
followed the instructions to the tee it
seems like there were some things lost
in translation from the original
language which is Chinese
