last week on sailing tipsy gypsy weeks
for North and South Benjamin Islands we
dropped the hook in a much busier
Anchorage and hiked to some secluded
areas to enjoy our hammocks panicking is
one of our favorite pastimes especially
with great scenery in every direction I
also get in the loan data hammock eat
wild blueberries and take a dip in the
clear fresh water we also realize the
dock seemed to be on their leashes due
to the black bears we see on north
benjamin tyler these islands are
gorgeous and we can't wait to visit
again soon
[Music]
we failed only about 25 miles to get to
little it was nice to see civilization
again we stopped to replenish our water
tanks and to provision our meals for our
upcoming journeys to killarney and basin
[Music]
we've got the swing bridge over there in
the distance which we will cross either
tomorrow or the next night mmm look at
the marina which it's not on the charts
but we're glad to have gotten a spot
because every single slip was already
booked for the next couple days I'm
hiking
[Music]
I also went to an LCBO which proved to
be the best possible stop for our love
of microbrews before leaving little
currently watched runs full and other
boats passed by the swing bridge as
reference for us we'd be leaving the
next day but first enjoyed an amazing
night with our friends stir-crazy and
some friends down the dock little
current was a quick trip for us but very
productive the next day we were off
[Music]
today is called detour
it's from Muscat
brewery I'll probably do that
it's got really cute illustrations all
over the cans we did have this yesterday
with some new friends Jeff and Cecily
and Owen and they have a cute cute dog
named Jasper I'm getting really good at
names again then this brie is pretty
amazing so I'll let you know all the
ratings if you want to follow us on
untappd we have untappd I'll put that in
the link
below and we're just gonna be chilling
here for a little while we didn't wait
too long in the bridge storm open for
our travels to killarney
a little friendly wave alright I am
drinking fire in the ride it's a roasted
ripe ale ale
I am in love with it it's a strong beer
and it's made by Double Trouble green
company we're gonna turn this corner and
start to sail it was a very reluctant
sale for us all we thought we'd check
out this anchorage it's pretty wide open
sure we saw some naked people on the
beach
some really nice houses
all right we're headed further into we
just heard somebody radio in saying that
they wouldn't have a spot our sale from
little current to killarney was quick
and easy allowing us to enjoy our micro
brews and for the dogs to get some
shut-eye we had issues with our nap pod
turning on the knobs but used avionics
as a backup Navionics is our backup for
electronic charts and at times has been
better than our current electronic
charts always nice to have good backups
[Music]
we were easily able to find an anchorage
and covered potage and the scenery was
much more elevated than the previous
islands we have visited it was a very
relaxing evening coming in but we knew
we'd have to stay an extra day to enjoy
some bike this wasn't the highest that
we went but the best view by park we
went there multiple times during our
stay and also enjoyed more of our my
cruise to
[Music]
afternoon Cameron's really cute similar
to yesterday's picture of Oakville's
first lighthouse u.s. open beer
championship should be really good
prime opportunity for a shower just
started raining it's really pretty
Bobby other good mini in the Dodger to
protect us probably this rain for
it makes you agree with this backdrop
[Music]
no no you're trying to we had an amazing
time in Killarney and the fish and chips
at Herbert is a must the best fish and
chips I've ever had and will probably
ever know it was a 30 minutes dinghy
ride for us both ways and could not be
happier that we took the track it would
also be our last day in Killarney so we
made sure to go back to our spot and
enjoy another beautiful sunset in the
North Channel we're gonna let the sunset
play out a little longer if you're
planning to visit the North Channel make
sure to add Killarney to your list there
are plenty of vocals to enjoy amazing
food to try and incredible Heights to
conquer another beautiful stop and for
us some amazing micro brews to enjoy
[Music]

a freshwater fjord and hiked to a dead
lake on our visit to bay Finn please

thumbs up Cheers
