there's a place called farmers love the
place where in the previous episode we
stayed from Spain to Portugal and have a
surprise visit from some friends we
arrived in Lexi's marina in Portugal
after a good state for me another
Costello we first stayed at anchor but
then went inside the marina as we knew
we would need to get some boat projects
done so this is the marina here in Lexus
everything we decided to go to lectures
instead of port to do row because it's a
lot cheaper and it only takes about 15
minutes with a subway to go into the
citizen it's supposed to be pronounced
LeSean but for us were in Portuguese
let's just stick with lectures

I think today sighting done and we did a
lot of sightseeing in Porto there was
just so much to see and we were running
around like crazy trying to see it as
much as possible happen here
we're here the art truck hit hit the
side of the river
[Music]
it was fun being back in a big city
again especially one like Porto the
double-decker dome Lewis bridge is an
icon of the city and resembles a lot of
the neighboring bridge designed by
Gustav Eiffel well most of us would
probably think of port wine and not
bridges when we here in Porto this wine
is produced next to the Douro River and
has quite an interesting history let's
hear about it a lot of the names have
English origin and that's because the
Englishmen had a big part of the 4th
wine industry when it got started they
started with the French and the English
being at work so the English couldn't
import the French wines so the
Englishman went to Portugal to find
another source of wine and they find the
pork rind
so they started importing the wine and
after that a lot of the houses are
started by Englishmen but wine isn't the
only thing Porto is famous for
they love their sardines so much that
they had a whole shop full of canned
sardines with different years and fun
facts printed on them a tourist trap
dear folks
but even though Porto is full low
tourist traps it is an amazing place to
visit and I think Chris summed it up
pretty good
decorative decadence it's like a arty a
little bit worn down very like vibrant
city it's very much alive
