the last 8 months we were sailing 2,000

miles and we are now on the Canary

Islands it's the moment to look back

Laurie why you gotta say I got chronic

pain in my back and they have to a back

surgery then I realized that life could

change to the worse every time so I

decided to live my dream and to buy a

sailboat white you choose the next ace

like playing a paraglider was my passion

for years but because of my back I was

flying less sailing came into my life I

was starting to sail to keep flying

everybody heard I was fascinated by

trimarans and I was just searching the

internet for boats and I found this time

around in Austria I had a look on it and

I decided to buy it

I had no idea about trimarans it's quite

old hoped it was built in 1979 it was

constructed by Corning it's a forerunner

of the dragonfly trimarans so I went to

Austria and transported the balls to

Switzerland and the same year I did some

sailing on the leg of the shuttle

the trimaran was quite in a good shape

but at the end I also had to fight some

work on it I did a lot of tests sailing

on the lake of inertia tell and I did a

refit for about two years I make the

boat ready for ocean sailing

with 27 feet it's quite a small boat but

it's also easy to handle it's easier to

repair and of course a lot cheaper

March 2017 everything was ready we took

the boat to the Mediterranean we

launched about 10 France

[Music]

so we are ready to launch the vote

[Music]

at the same time sailing lavaca bombed

hatched arabic splash party of their new

catamaran in the ground boat in France

it was just nearby so I thought we'll

join their party we sailed to the ground

boat was just two hours of sailing and

we joined them at the end of the day

we're just a couple of kids with a

partner we like to sail with my videos

so this is great I stayed with the boat

for about 1 months in the Hartford and

that the chance to go sailing with Raley

was a great fun to meet Raley and to go

sailing with him when the wind picked up

just back there when we hit that line

and it just shot off the mark not a main

as soon as we got that wind is

acceleration at the first time I was

sailing alone on the coast of France and

Spain and went to al meriya where I met

Nicole and from there we started our

adventure together you never say it

before but you create your job and you

were living on a sailboat now I know

first thing is I'm really crazy I just

follow the voice of my heart and know

that is the right shoe I like to be in

the nature connected with mahapatra
