well Assis were actually pretty calm

this morning up until about 2:00 this

afternoon

waves and wind picked up was almost

directly on my Stern

two o'clock and shifted to now it's

actually apparently miss reading a beam

I saw

sale sometimes I do

so I came in the Harbormaster says

anchor just don't front of that marina

so that's what I did

we've gotta wait for customs and

immigration to come to the boat they

probably are not in the office right now

but anyways it's nice and calm in this

Anchorage it was blowing like 20 knots

out off the coast but in our passage and

I managed to get some sleep wild why

ever have deep sleep

I'm eight I was hoping that I couldn't

even get some sleep during the day but

Annihilus wide awake yesterday afternoon

and of course in the morning or just

hardly and he went ten knots

apparent from the stern so then whisker

pull out and this may be doing five

anywhere from five to six knots more

like five

so I SPECT concerned the first day I was

just flying and then the second day in

the morning was pretty slow but two

o'clock in the afternoon winds piped up

and it was on the beam or just behind

the beam and I just flew I mean at some

points I was doing over eight knots

which is kind of scary I didn't really

need to be doing eight knots and that

was with a double reef and half a jib oh

the following seas were really pushing

me along was barely comfortable this

boat really doesn't track well when the

seas are kind of hitting you kind of on

a behind crevasse during quarter it

wants to wobble a bit and autopilot

cracks that and then of course it heels

over and you're doing a lot of that some

people get really upset about that

emotion and that did bother me when I

first started sailing this boat downwind

I didn't like that motion but I just

nothing you can do about it I'm more of

anyways I think maybe I have your boat

full keel whenever a bigger boat

no ski boat I don't think that's coming

for me

apparently they have to bring in

some dogs to sniff explosives and drugs

when you arrive and when you depart

another shower actually had a shower

yesterday morning while sailing and the

boat was going crazy kind of hard to

balance yourself in the tiny shower but

it was so hot at one point and then in

the afternoon it just cools right down

as soon as that wind pipes up

oh they when you start moving north it

our get out off one of these islands it

really cools off tonight

I wondered how the Bahamas wouldn't even

Bahamas is not an option now probably

just as soon as I leave here spent a

couple days whatever check the weather

then head over to maybe Varadero so I

think I can do Varadero in two days

I couldn't stop about a few little

anchors yours Anchorage is there but

what I've kind of come to the conclusion

is I can stop and get a rest but then

you've lost two days but if you got a

good weather when don't just go for it

and yeah it just depends on the weather

I guess the bummer is I don't the the

Wi-Fi connectivity here in Cuba you have

to go to a hotspot and pay for your

internet access you just can't go and

buy a SIM card easily I think it is

possible for tourists to get a sim card

but I'll tie it it's better to bring

your own working roaming sim to Cuba

just for checking whether unfortunately

I lost my

well my company phone was disconnected

so that was something I didn't have a

local SIM card ever used the company

phone just to do some downloads of

Whitney or predict Wynton or Chris

Parker I think maybe that Google Phi

might be an option for somebody else

so check out but I'm not gonna do that

together when I get in the states I

probably get another one AT&T you know

mention service I found that pretty

reliable alone coast of the US and I was

able to watch Netflix and unlimited

whatever you want to watch me get me

entertained it's been 45 minutes now I

think it'll be more like two hours wager

I should probably get a nap but I've

already had three coffees and really

don't feel like what napping now I want

to get to shore and apparently the

marina here sells Wi-Fi cards and I'm

just so shocked that they would even

have a hotspot here but if they do

that's a bonus cuz I need to make a call

need to call my Tay and see if she wants

to bring me some money or I'll have to

go into Guadalupe acha to get some cash

to pay these people

getting back to estates I didn't realize

how serious the new Trump administration

changed the laws in this community of

I do a little bit more research on they

have to swing back over to Bahamas like

Bimini clear in and clear out of there

and then go over to West Palm Beach

that's a drag it's a three hundred

dollars to clear any clear Oh
