We decided to stay at anchor during winter in the Greek Islands rather than stay in a marina or haul the boat out which seems to be quite unusual, as we are usually the only boat around most of the time.

We leave Rhodes for our next Greek Island, Symi where we start to slow down, enjoy the Greek culture and changing seasons.

We get to experience two different and protected anchorages Panormitis and Pedi and enjoy our first full sail without the motor in between the two.

We are new to the cruising lifestyle, but so far it is everything we were hoping for and more, great anchorages, amazing people, sunrises and sunsets and freedom.

last week we raced to leave Turkey for

Greece and dude exiting delays arrived

well into the night once we made it to

Rhodes we were excited to explore Greece

and discovered some amazing Anchorage's

and unique villages this week we pull up

the hook due to a change in weather and

so 25 nautical miles to our next Greek

island semi we enjoy swims and the slow

life either protected encouraged up in

Marita's where we feel like we have

stepped back in time before moving on to

petty bay next to the town of see me

we're in Hana meatus which is a little

Bay in the Greek island to see me and we

left Rose this morning and it was

horrible

the boat was getting turned upside down

pretty much and we decided we'd had

enough and we are here now and we are

damn glad we came it's beautiful

there's not many people here there's

probably more goats than people but we

like it that way

Bailey we are sailing it's very nice and

engine off and still move forward we're

going about 5 knots which is pretty good

yeah we've got nowhere to be rather sail

at 5 knots and motor

yeah blue in that fire maybe seven but

yeah it's quite it's relaxing and is why

we bought a sailboat for sale

Greece is right through it's quite a few

minutes so Jace is gonna sleep I'm gonna

stay out on watch for a few hours just

in case it's still the first week of our

new anchor so just want to make sure she

holds a cake so quite close to the shore

I'm not too keen it does like I say it

should be fine it's been perfect so far

but yeah we're just wanted to be short

next we have read comments that the

holding in this anchorage isn't the best
