We continue our adventure through the Dedocanese, Greek Islands, enjoying a perfect sail from Symi to Kos. Later that evening we experience the LEAST perfect anchorage ever, outside Kos marina with huge swells. The next day with our boat safe in Kos marina and little to no sleep we dose up on coffee and head to a quirky Greek restaurant and enjoy traditional meals and wonderful Greek hospitality! For several days we continue to experience thunder storms, rain, hail and constant 25-35 knots of wind and Trace has an accident during all of this and ends up at an emergency doctor getting stitches.

this week we continue exploring the
Dodecanese sailing from Semi to Kos
we experience more bad weather including
hail and I have an unfortunate accident
just checking out the weather for today
for our sail its 13th of December it's
coming on the nose for part of it which
it has been doing for a week so we've
just been waiting for it to turn which
it does today about ten o'clock at the
volume and it's quite mild it surrounds
seven knots which is the blue but then
you can see it starts to pick up a
little bit later on in the day and it
also starts to change direction to a
southerly so the green and then the
yellows around 15 20 25 knots
finalizing our track just checking it
out we've got around 50 nautical miles
to go from semi to the top of coz this
will be a rough route that we will take
and it should hopefully take us around
eight hours
wish that I could stay wish for this
moment to never go away morning we're
leaving beautiful sunrise behind now
these are gonna be my tulu as a choice
for tonight they're at

what's your favorite part about sailing
and what's your least favorite
a favorite part is
say
the anticipation of
[Applause]
satisfaction after
when we get
we're not sailing rider for my own style
this morning for a little bit and then
the wind drop down to almost nothing
so what do you least like about Sally
yeah that's fair enough I agree there so
we generally only anchor we were
actually off because
and we will be visiting the marina for a
couple of days is that because you're
sick of Anchorage's or is there a reason
we're going
there
Oh sir and it
[Music]
so we'll be there only for a couple of
days we're gonna be anchoring tonight
but yeah we should be in the marina
maybe tomorrow morning for a couple of
days before we head back out on
Anchorage again all right
thanks a lot
[Music]
we are the slave kind and then your
trace is hard to find
[Music]
pretty ideal sailing conditions I was
initially a little bit concerned about
if I be seasick but if anything once the
sails around glides through the water so
you don't really feel any of the chunk
obviously if you're really big stuff
will but enjoyed it I haven't really I
haven't felt queasy at all it's
surprising and not I'm sure once we head
off shore a lot further a little bit
protecting the great balance making
change but for now I like it
[Music]
[Music]
but crazy and we couldn't get into the
marina then it's too late and wake
myself up good with you I sleep did you
get free oh yeah looks beautiful
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
to be alive
in ordered
British it's better with money and
drunken fans yeah
one
crazy and cheap outside great time
you
hailstorm in Greece
some crazy lightning happening as well
yeah I was out of the blue and random
I'm glad we're in the marina the weather
continued to be bad for several days
with winds between 25 to 35 knots with
more thunderstorms and rain then the Sun
finally came out
hey it's like we are off somewhere where
we go if you like to eat that Apple now
oh they're lovely nails pretty that big
thing on the ends that I'll go into more
detail later and we're off
we're leaving the dock cause marina
you putting on an extra limp I've
started filming you look like
just witnessed your toe in all its glory
can you tell us what you actually did
[Music]
I lost my toe actually on one of the
metal clamps in there that holds a hose
to the shower drain hmm not good yes yes
very lucky and we just like to say Cosmo
een or extremely helpful the ladies in
the office so yeah they organized us to
get to a private doctor and you know
from slicing your foot you're on the 20
minutes yeah yeah so very happy with the
service
