Catamaran Sailing Shipwrecks in Majuro Saiing couple explore shipwrecks This week we leave downtown Majuro and head out to explore two anchorages on the North side of the lagoon. After a quick six mile sail we stop at Enamanet where we unpack our dive gear and jump into the crystal clear lagoon waters. We enjoy our time exploring a shipwreck, a sunken plane and two helicopters. We use our Coltri dive compressor for the first time and spend time refilling dive tanks, in between making our first batch of kambucha and taking Daisy the drone for a test flight. After a very enjoyable few days we up-anchor and travel the additional 2 miles west to Eneko. Here we snorkel the shallow reef and spend time chilling out with a laid back octopus. A old fishing boat was sunk near one of the moorings, so we roll in for a dive with Curtis and Julie from 'Manna' and Andrew and Alex from 'Offshore Haven'. A traditional canoe anchors in front of us so we go and check it out and get Daisy up for a good look. filmed in the Marshall islands, North Pacific ocean. We are Jo and Rob and we are here to share our sailing adventures with you. In 2016, inspired by the likes of ‘Delos’, ‘Sailing La Vagabonde’ and ‘Gone with The Wynns’, we sold up everything we owned and bought our 40ft, Fountaine Pajot ‘Lipari 41 Evo’ sailing catamaran ‘Double Trouble’. We had no sailing experience whatsoever, so the past few years have been a huge learning curve. We thought it might be fun to document our travels for anyone thinking of following a similar lifestyle. So far we have visited 7 different countries and sailed over 13,000 nautical miles. We have had many unique experiences that would not have been possible in our prior life and we don’t regret a second. We're both super keen on protecting our precious environment, so amongst other things, we both follow a plant based diet. You wont find any fishing footage on this channel! Subscribe now and join us as we continue our salty travels around the world. https://www.youtube.com/c/SailingDoubleTrouble?sub_confirmation=1 👏Credits: Thanks to 'Shure ' microphones for voiceover sound. 🎼Music: DT Theme tune - 'Happy' by MBB https://soundcloud.com/mbbofficial Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported — CC BY-SA 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b... ah find you on the move I'm not going
far we're going down to a little island
called Anna MAHT which is still within
the lagoon but apparently it's meant to
be very pretty and private there's some
nice little dives up there it's nice to
just be getting away from the big city
an escape to an island

I spy dive gear yeah we're going for a
dive this morning the best dive of the
season not very adventurous we're just
going to go and dive on another plane
exciting though yeah it's gonna be good
just check the air and then later we'll
use our compressor for the first time
it's a day of first our first time ever
in the Marshall Islands bit of rocky
then we'll be off tonight yeah first
time ever off the back of DT the clear
water of animals has a number of sunken
treasures to explore which is slowly
becoming artificial reefs an old ship
sits in 20 metres heading for the
shallows the remains of a dc-3 airplane
are in about ten metres
[Music]
and a couple of helicopters have been
positioned further inshore at 15 meters
are a number of interesting bombers that
run along the shoreline a nice easy dive
and a good introduction to the Masaru
dive sites
how's it going mister yeah this has just
been done and we have 235 life changing
[Music]
new coal tree and ch6
compressor which we got from the guys at
Air Tech in New Zealand very nice unit
we've just used it the first time and it
does a really good fill which it wasn't
too bad people said it was going to be
really noisy but it seemed okay we were
just used to annoy noisy generators and
stuff already tada
that is my first kombucha fermentation
underway Julie from mana has very kindly
given me a Scobie and gave me a lesson
today in how to make a kombucha which it
turns out it's relatively
straightforward so I have made my first
batch and it has to sit there for a week
and then I basically old bottle it and
then it sits in the bottles for a week
to get nice and fizzy and then we can
drink it and from this batch we will
then start the next batch and so on and
so forth so hopefully very soon we will
have a never-ending supply of kombucha
which we like very much indeed so I'm
very excited it's a new addition to the
boat and hopefully it's all going to
work fingers crossed
Thank You Julie Daisy's first flight

just repeat the words that you just said
to me I'm gonna have to read the manual
RTFM Robson Burch is going to have to
read the manual actually after after
this level of sarcasm I'm just gonna
push these buttons until I work out how
I need to make this thing work for me
it's just gonna be that would be a
little while Hank snorkelling and the
shallows of anak Oh was a great way to
spend a few hours the water is crystal
clear and while the coral is fairly warm
there was enough small fish and areas of
interest to keep us occupied before
going for a dive
[Music]
they swimming along with you he's so
cute I don't know it's just when you're
swimming there was only a kid
[Music]
one of our favorite sea animals is the
octopus they are highly intelligent and
this guy was really curious and not
faced by us at all when swimming they
trail our legs behind them but spend
most of their time spread out or around
coral structure their skin is very thin
and they have the ability to change its
texture and color as part of
camouflaging themselves the animal has a
siphon just below its head which is used
for breathing and also did propel women
through the water

when we got back from our dive a
beautiful traditional clue was anchored
in front of us there are a few of these
in Majuro and they are used to transport
people to the outlying islands within
the lagoon and also to deliver supplies
to the villages in the outer atolls
