After sailing out to Border Island and declaring it a most beautiful Island, Darren spots tiny Deloraine Islet shimmering in the sunlight. We head on over to explore this little gem.
On our way back we come across some ancient rock structures, understanding why the Aboriginal people talk of Earth giving birth.
Intrigued by some caves on Border Island we spend a morning cliff climbing and cave dwelling.

We are an adventurous couple who live an alternative life - a life at sea. We feel better connected when we are sailing. We live simpler and have less impact on the environment.
We take the time to immerse ourselves in different cultures, meet amazing people and experience what the oceans and our planet have to offer.
So come aboard and follow our adventures as we sail and explore our beautiful planet!

in our last episode we discover a major
fail with one of our safety systems
crash the drone and pull our stays all
out from the depths to test it in stormy
conditions
okay so we're just taking a nice little
stroll up the up the hill there pulled
her on and the view up here is just
beautiful not even at the top yet
everywhere you look it's just beautiful
years
oh yeah we got the something solid and
Porter oil looks long it'll probably
hold a nice little anchor Jeanne lovely
doughnuts spot of Deloraine
Island with its beautiful white sandy
beach looking just peachy on this
stunning day so we took off around the
eastern side of border island for a 15
minute ride in the tender over to de
Lorraine Deloraine Island sits to the
north of the famous whitehaven beach
it's a tiny island with steep drop-offs
making it a challenging place for yachts
to anchor even in the most favorable
conditions the rewards are a beautiful
reef for snorkeling and a quiet beach to
chill upon

well we are at de Lorraine islet and
we've been wanting to come here before
we leave because it's just beautiful
it's the sandy little or islet
and actually they say it's a sandy
Coralie sort of beach and it's this
beautiful place just down the down from
whitehaven it's got a lovely wreath out
there apparently that you can snorkel
and that's all coral down that in there
which is really interesting just mounds
and mounds of coal it looks like sand
from afar
got to come here on a sort of a deadpan
kind of day because it gets pretty rough
out here they drop off here you can
anchor in about 20 meters are 18 to 20
meters so you've got to pick your days
to come out here isn't it beautiful just
gorgeous lovely Long Beach beautiful
area to swim so I'm gonna go and see if
I can find some sand dollars love a
lovely day in the whitsundays how lucky
are we
whoo
[Music]
almost a sin dollar almost there lucky
hahaha beautiful so much coral on this
beach it's amazing that whole area over
there it's all a big coral snake amazing
oh just checking this place here that's
beautiful never seen one like that
before with the crossing normally
they're all that just just that tall are
they
[Applause]
[Music]
find this really intriguing this is
actually a rock and it's got coral
embedded into it
same with this guy here he's all
embedded with coral
it's amazing so you wonder if the coal
came from the rock will the rock
gathered the coral here's a big lump of
coral he must have got thrown out of the
water during the cyclone knew that a
beautiful Jim amongst the coral debris I
wonder what he would have been when he
was alive on our way back was spotted
some pretty cool rock structures and had
to take
who is the cave
amazing rock isn't it
you know that one looks like it's just
gonna fall off anytime soon
I wouldn't be any good Wow look at that
I wish I could climb up there
amazing
hahaha
incredible
the beautiful colors and the layers of
the limestone
amazing give that one
look at these rock structures
just think the colors are so pretty
I wish I could see that one
okay we've been sitting here for a day
or two and these caves are really
intriguing us we're going to see if we
can climb up there should be a bit of an
adventure see what's inside looks like a
place of Steel there's Rock run rusty
old metal
[Music]

hidey-hole it's a really trick here it's
beautiful these beautiful limestone
colors and and it's just kind of warm
and Irian a bit of a musty smell a bit

back somewhere not so much yeah why no

it's Wayne liya hey pretty women it is
what always things here are actually
shells and I'm not sure how far we would
be above sea level but we would have to
be have to be 30 or 40 metres above sea
level you want to be a cave dweller my
honey I am a crafter Willa you are a
cave dweller you okay woman okay woman
there's plenty of power around huh
that's for sure someone's been eating
lots of power no way so we gonna find
