in our last episode we bid farewell to

beautiful magnetic island and enjoyed a

cranking sail to broad history

where we made the most of the beautiful

weather exploring this aquatic

Wonderland

first lights is down prepping our energy

for the day really mainly that's as

fresh as you can get nice green coconut

beautiful so once Darren's actually got

and then and got the water out and he

goes around in a circle around the

coconut sort of cracking it all the way

around and then he'll be able to just

sort of knock it and it should fall

apart yeah baby

to reveal the meat inside so this is

quite a young coconut it hasn't got a

lot of meat but it's got like this jelly

substance which I'm going to use to make

a kind of a coconut ice cream thanks my

honey champion if it look at that

look at three coconuts have yielded us

half a liter of water Buu mate I love it

I'm gonna make a fresh smoothie out of

that magic okay babe have a good snuggle

no no have you fish something you two we

then have a quick dive to see if we can

catch them down

after filling our catch it was time to

pop over to see our neighbors so a

weighed anchor and joined them up the

other end of the reef with visibility of

10 to 30 meters and a depth of up to 55

Broadus reef is located in easy 30

nautical miles directly offshore from

Cape bowling-green south of Townsville

here you will find a vibrant reef system

on a mostly sandy bottom with large

coral bommies and steep slopes with

crevices hiding a diverse range of fish

life such as cold trout snapper parrot

fresh octopus and stingrays this morning

we hopped in for another glorious dive

with Troy and Pascal

you check it that sunset that's just

absolutely friend you got a lot of pain

in on this roof it's just brilliant it's

school in walls and look at the place to

ourselves

just on the high sea just chills out the

soul doesn't it it does beautiful

crystal-clear water fish swimming around

coral today's doesn't get any better

than that

that's for sure yeah pick the trips huh

oh yeah

the rule that picked up their tender so

Darren popped over to pick them up

so we have had just the most gorgeous

day and the Sun is sitting just behind

us and it's just magic out here it's so

good to be back out on the roof again so

so good

there's not a soul in sight I can't even

see the roof right now so it feels like

we just anchored up in the middle of the

ocean beautiful can't day it's really

lovely here in a glassed out today so

even in sort of 10 to 15 knots should be

okay here at broad history and yeah we

just had a really super chill day did a

few jobs I froze down the remainder are

bananas

I made a gorgeous coconut dessert we're

having Troy and Pascale from ER all over

for dinner tonight and yeah so it's

going to be a combined cruises meals so

Troy's caught us a fish her scales

making a delicious

pour pour sell it and I've made a an

eggplant curry and yeah and I've made

this frozen coconut dessert so Darren

chopped up the coconuts and yeah we're

just gonna have some chill time together

and really enjoy each other's company in

this beautiful environment we're in just

magic

and that's what cruising is all about

good friends good company amazing

destinations and delicious food

dinner was it based with Troy

entertaining us with his hilarious tales

of his diving day so good morning as you

can see it is an absolutely glass out

morning this morning it is just

beautiful just love being out here I

encourage you to get out to a reef

Anchorage's nearby you because this is

the kind of beauty you get when you come

out this far so we had a beautiful day

yesterday just snorkeling and we came

down to visit with Meru last night had a

lovely dinner yummy good combo fun times

it was good and unfortunately I didn't

realize that I had sunk our underwater

camera yesterday and we were looking at

the most gorgeous corals the colors were

just popping out of the coral and the

fish life was abundant and yeah it was

just magic so who Terran is trying to

revive the the Sony and see if we can

get it going for a but it's not all

footage this morning before we head off

to our next Anchorage but isn't it

gorgeous beautiful glass out day news my

honey yeah well unfortunately maybe you

forgot to put it in the waterproof case

I'm so excited about having a snorkel

after three months yeah sort of feeling

the same why but so I sunk at best

one of our bitter gopher with sunny and

action cams yeah it's I'm hoping to pull

it up pull it apart and hopefully I can

make dad like my love

and I follow you you never know you

never know but it sort of you can see

the moisture in the the Spivey oh yeah

it was full of water yeah I drained it

off morphe had it sitting in the engine

room all night nice and warm but it

really needs to come apart if it's got

any chance of so for good like my hair

you can do it behind camera okay well

I'll say yeah we go say yeah we go

later that afternoon Pascal came over

for a SUP so we took off for an

afternoon exploring the reef we netted

about life on board and some of the

funny things we face as women living on

the water

Huskies passionate about fishing and

pointed out various species as we

totaled along she's a pretty cool chick

and I hope we get to meet up again
