We do not see Lamlash at its best, but we are sailing to a schedule and we need to be in Campbelltown for a good weather passage across the North Channel. Sa...

the triggers level everything else isn't
so it's not really like this it's really
more like this
[Music]
well Ferb and I are currently in long
lash and I'd love to say that it's
wonderfully in sunny and not washing it
down so there's no fishing round here to
increase our seeds diversity it's a good
idea in our books we were definitely not
seeing lamb lash at its best on a sunny
day it must look glorious but this was
not that day
[Music]
which is holy because of a martyr who
died in a cage we've also got a marine
preservation area here brilliant
ice cream it's a summer about here is a
queue where since I forget is near
begins to the dam since somebody
deliberately contractor 30 30 different
diseases and then died in his cave in
639 so this really is I'm Fox Island
over there foot the side I'm having to
tween the fridge joke because it's
defrosted and have water in the bottom
and this is what fits in the bottom
section of the fridge
the top section hasn't been emptied yet
the sound you're hearing at the moment
is the sound of the engine because the
only way when we're on either anchor or
mooring to charge the house batteries is
to use the engine if we're gonna live on
salty laughs which we are doing you know
and continue to live on salty last
though it's got a change while Beverly
is preparing food I'm going to be doing
I'm gonna be putting the dry mat down we
had some dry not spare from sorting out
the v-berth and what we're going to use
the dry mop for is to put it at the
bottom of our seats underneath our seats
and that will just keep the dry mats off
the off the bottom and that's especially
going to be good form a splicing bag
which is literally is just in a bag and
that gets it just means it's not going
to get down yeah we don't get a lot of
moisture under there since we insulated
yeah but it does still Scout a little
bit and just let's keep it off the
installations reduce the dump hasn't it
we used to have puddles in there and now
you've got no but never got like a film
of moisture yes film mill street boy it
still gets my splicing bag it still gets
my surprising bag damp so by putting the
dry matting at the bottom I'll get rid
of that so might as well repurpose
alright no need to shout say how
repurpose the dry matting that we don't
we do we have leftover help where's the
job done and I will have be the first to
agree with you it is not cut to
perfection but the whole purpose of this
is just to keep my stuff that I have
stored here off the bottom of the locker
and and not to waste my dry mat so from
that point of view I have achieved the
objective well I've got the chair up I
thought I'd just share with you a
solution me we have a rather large bunk
which is great for when you need a large
funk but we've wasted all that storage
behind it so all I've done is I've got
thermal bag so that it keeps things dry
I've put wonderful little labels on them
so this means it's be for my bedding so
I've got blankets and my spare bedding
in there and because it's in the thermal
bag it just keeps everything warm and if
we need a bigger bulk I can take them
out and but I've still got storage so
it's just a solution I thought I'd share
well as you can see
you can see for miles except we want to
go that direction well you can't really
see from ours

Oh sister I was videoing and all I could
see was dots what I was seeing
[Music]
so plan B is to when we get to about
here we'll call Campbell turn on the
radio and ask them about conditions and
if conditions are pretty terrible then
whereby you able to return rind will
come back in through this will go back
onto the mirroring bowl it'll be a bit
of a trip boat but at least we have a
backup
[Music]
definitely some
choppy wave
[Music]
once we turn west we were able to go
close hold at last it's been too long on
this particular passage but at last
blissful sound that I enjoy known as the
sales are up and we're finally sailing
no engine giving us motor sailing no we
like just sailing well we finally used
our boom break in anger and there's
definitely a couple of things we didn't
think about first of all it's no good
for single handing because you need to
go forward to sort out the lines and
it's always good to have somebody
keeping an eye on you while you doing
that the fact that you have to go
forward on the windward side its leeward
sorry the fact that you have to go
forward on the leeward side is another
safety issue to go forward think about
but we are using it it is doing the job
and we've already done a video about it
who if we want to watch that you can
have a look about somewhere else but
anyway we'll see we've got it in
operation now in spite of the fog and
mist doing its best to hide Campbell
tone we find the inference channel and
proceeded in that is the shape of the
green cone right and now we're gonna
just go to the other side and that is
the shape at the red camp and to be
honest it's not really
sufficient you'll find there you've got
a special marker as well but you know
it's just not can like you know more
Connie this particular boring is a
little bit on why called overkill so
it's got there and then it's got comes
back as you can see it's got two ropes
on doesn't have any boys on it at all so
it meant that that was just trailing
this one's got two one but the problem
is the rope is so heavy difficult to the
home to the balls because the blue line
was just being dragged around by the
[Music]
well this is Campbell tine and we have
bobbed into it to top up with water get
rid of rubbish and pay a marine ball
fakes we took a Mearing ball last night
the other thing we're getting is some
diesel which we've got in this Jerry can
and I've really put some fuel
conditioner in tips and fuel set I'll
show you that in a moment this is our
diggie hose our self priming siphon it
has a brass fitting with a metal ball at
the end the other end goes into the tank
and if you don't have one of these and
you live a boat or sailboat or a
motorboat well I think you're missing
out because look at this
if it goes ah
quaintly to picture house this is all I
can show your Campbeltown because I'm
afraid to say I'm on a mission when I'm
afraid sure it's to cross to Ireland
well I finished my cup of tea and the
job is done all I gotta do now is take
this and light put a rag round the end
of it and lift it up and I won't spill a
drop I could then coil all this away and
wait for next time and this goes back in
storage under the Beamer
