eventually leave our fantastic drone

on and head south

south along the coast and slightly east

we moved our way down towards the Bay of

Naples and her first Anchorage we had

the most amazing sail first part wasn't

that windy the second part was great and

we literally sailed straight into the

anchorage here's a few clips

the Anchorage was absolutely beautiful

with a castle on the remote headland in

fact it was so beautiful

we are out there

the next morning these guys came around

they literally chucked us out the

Anchorage telling us that we were too

close to the harbor wall too close to

the port and that we were illegally

anchored despite us showing them the

charts

they told us to move on so we did we

moved on around the headland and into

the Bay of Naples and across the bay we

could see Mount Vesuvius in the distance

again another stunning Anchorage but

rather than me yeah Brennan showing you

all the bits and pieces let's just let

the video tell it all so we've just

anchored in the Bay of Naples

there's a turn it a over there and they

are 60 meters away

I just come past our four stay

and there it TZ and over there is poor a

laugh

got moved on this walk I'll do sang in

the description got moved on because

apparently we weren't far enough from

land even though with 300 meters away

they want to just move another 300

meters out into 85 metres of water which

is you know which is silly Mount

Vesuvius net boat but doing a film shot

really hard to keep on it and a move in

Dec there's a couple of mermen and a

couple of more women on that some kind

of film shot and now it's up and we've

just heard thunder so I think it may be

time to close the hatches we've got the

temporary solar out and the main solar

panel will be producing 25 members

before I finish this little clip I will

show you how I know how far away we are

and I'll give you a top tip so a couple

of top tips rain cream we always got

good set of binoculars these were less

than 30 euros and they've got coated

lenses

can't remember where we got them but the

optics in them as ice optics so they all

good set and we got them secondhand

didn't weigh from a vote jumble we use a

handheld because we have a second radio

there at the helm when we rank ER in and

it makes it a lot easier to hear

instructions for anchoring or pulling

the anchor this we've shown you before

this is our winch max remote control

less than 50 pounds I think it was 37

pounds and I'll do the conversion for

you in the video this is one of the best

things ever that we've bought for the

boat this is a gulf laser rangefinder

and I can't really show you how it works

because I don't think you will be able

to see through the lens it's have a look

no I don't think you will but basically

it sends out infrared laser beam bounces

back this measures the distance and

tells us exactly how far away we are

from something so if we're on got a lot

of China we know how far we're going to

swing if the wind changes or the weather

changes and this was I think about 80 UK

pounds so again I'll do the conversion

for you

but it also gives you range-finding in

fog in meters and in yards and it also

gives you speed so if someone's coming

past you you can tell how fast they're

going

it's been absolutely brilliant we bought

one with normal batteries inside because

we didn't want something that had a

lithium battery that might back up in a

year or two years time we just swapped

the batteries out but I guess you could

use sorting out a focus of guess you

could use a conventional rechargeable

lithium battery trouble is there 1.2

volts of 1.5 locker

a zinc battery a normal zinc battery but

I mean that does we've been using that

for a couple of weeks now and the

batteries are fine the winch Maxell but

linked in to our video where we show you

how to fit one of these and save I think

we saved about 200 UK pounds fit in this

rather than the one made by loom our yes

a couple of top tips ranker in there

right I think it's time to batten down

the rest of the hatches because it's

getting grey the mermaids have all gone

vesuvius and there we go

when we we bought our away of us she

always she's had a heart condition which

we've been treating for four years and

she was only ever expected to last 18

months so she's had a good crack at a

whip and it said but yeah that's the way

these things go um so next week we'll be

moving on further down the coast we've

got some great video from the Bay of

Naples which we'll put onto the next
