naples go on further south to agropoli

our route takes us past four suyus in

the bay of naples around the headland

and into salerno where we have a great

anchorage the winds are light and

generally on air beam we get some great

sailing in although it's not fast it's a

tree for the Med anyway in agropoli

climb to the top of the hill and have a

sunset dinner to celebrate our 37th

wedding anniversary

evening in the Bay of Naples gave us

this fantastic sunset although the the

swell looks like it's rolling the

surround of it actually it wasn't too

bad as soon as the wind changed we faced

into this well and well just sat and had

a nice glass of wine

it's lovely so I'm not sure how much of

this you can see but obviously that's

hello Oscar and we are just leaving the

baby we've stayed two nights I'll give

but the swell is running at about I

guess a yard seven hundred and fifty mil

but it's right where we don't want it to

be so seven o'clock this morning we're

moving on it was a lovely little harbour

and the people there were so friendly

two euros for a Peroni in the bar the

afternoon before some poor chap lost his

dingo I can't possibly comment on who it

was suffice to say that he'd bought a

floating rope as a painter tied it off

to the cleat on the back of the boat and

of course it slipped through the cleat

luckily someone was there to catch the

action we had a fantastic sail around

the peninsula managed to stop off for

lunch as well which was nice if we're on

the Amalfi Coast and come right in the

end

sorry ensure you have lunch near a beach

next to the cliffs it's good holding

sandy bottom few rocks here and there

you just took Oscar over to that little

beach over there

for a run round right up there there's a

road and it twists all along the Amalfi

Coast and that's a Ducati I mistakable

probably can't hear on yeah they run

they're doing all the twisties along the

coast the house up there and another

actually you can just see the cars going

around the corner they're just below

that house

after a beautiful sale along the Amalfi

Coast we went into Sorrento we found a

free Anchorage which is quite well

protected and David and Caroline went

back by bus for just one year Oh seventy

into a mouthy to see the sights

Devi commented now feels small quite a

quaint town they were actually a couple

of things that caught his eye while he

was there I can't imagine for the life

of me what they could have been can you

breakwater being built over there

I'm just preparing to leave after three

nights very peaceful Anchorage lovely

place to stay

north not so protected from the sail but

I hope it was free and this tap on the

beach over there so we've been

collecting water in our jugs every day

lovely so even managed to get the

cruising shoe up well for a while anyway
